Richard Porritt

Richard started out in the north of England at The Press in Dewsbury and the Huddersfield Daily Examiner before working on several national newspapers. He was later night editor of the PA and executive news editor at the Evening Standard.  His first editorship was at the Norwich Evening News and he took over in a regional capacity - including as editor of the flagship Eastern Daily Press - in September 2022.
