On Wednesday 11 March, we gathered to announce the winners of the Regional Press Awards, spotlighting the industry’s standout achievements from 2025. It was an afternoon defined by the timeless elegance of Quaglino's, beginning with a sparkling drinks reception followed by an exquisite two-course meal and dessert canapés.

Beyond the presentation of the trophies, the event served as an opportunity for the industry to reconnect and form new connections. From the first toast to the final reveal, the room was alive with the energy of the UK’s best newsrooms .

SUSTAINABILITY

We have made considered choices in the planning of the event and selected our suppliers carefully to ensure they share our strong commitment to sustainability to reduce the environmental impact and increase the positive social and economic contribution.

Here are some of the positive changes we have made to the event:
Our chosen venue Quaglino's is easy to reach by public transport and we encourage all of our guests to use low emissions means of transport when travelling to our events.

Our menu has been chosen with the aim of reducing our food miles by working with the venue to choose a locally sourced and seasonal menu.
We will be using the TRACE by isla platform to reduce our carbon footprint by measuring the emissions from the event.
To support our sustainability goals, we encourage all guests to use low-emission or public transport to attend the event.
