Sian Boyle

Freelance Journalist

Sian started her career aged 17 with work experience stints on her local newspaper, the Herald & Post in Luton. This piqued her interest in journalism, and instilled from a young age a respect for grassroots reportage.  After further work experience at national newspapers, magazines and the BBC, Sian gained a place on the Daily Mail's prestigious graduate trainee scheme. As part of her training, she worked as a regional reporter covering all 32 London boroughs for the Evening Standard, and later as Midlands Correspondent, covering the patch including Birmingham and Nottingham. Sian had further roles as deputy investigations editor and then feature writer, and now works as a freelance feature writer for national titles.
