Ian Ridley

Over a 40-year career, Ian Ridley was a sports writer for The Guardian, The Observer, The Independent on Sunday and the Mail on Sunday, for whom he was chief football writer. He was named Sports Journalist of the Year in the British Press Awards in 2007 and was shortlisted on two other occasions, Ian has also written 14 sports books, including the Sunday Times No.1 bestseller Addicted with Tony Adams, and two novels.
