Ian Day

Ian Day has over 30 years of editorial experience as a picture editor and professional photographer, before holding several senior editorial management positions across regional and national media organisations. Most recently, Ian was Deputy Editor at The Yorkshire Post, one of the UK's largest regional newspapers - he was the first photographer to be promoted to this role in the newspaper's 270-year history. In 2015, Ian was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society (FRPS) and an Accredited Senior in Imaging in the Creative Industries (ASICI). He is now photography and media consultant.
