Football editor of the Manchester Evening News, leading the coverage of Manchester United and Man City. Proud to be one of the only female football editors in the country and trying to make the pathway into sports journalism easier for the next generation of female writers. Started out as a trainee news reporter on the Rochdale Observer before qualifying as a senior and moving to the MEN as airport and health reporter, followed by a stint on the MEN newsdesk as a news editor.
