What top tip would you give to this year's entrants?
Don't just think you need to enter stories which graced the front pages. Think about the pieces you wrote which made an impact and stayed with you and are original and distinctive and show journalism that is different to what others are doing. Consider the pieces where you highlighted under-reported issues and shone a light on scandals, as well as those where you spoke to people who feel their voices and stories are not usually heard.
